The National Student Loan Program (NSLP) announced the launch of Inceptia, its new school services division. Inceptia‘s mission is to increase the financial aptitude of students, improve graduation rates, and address the need for effective financial aid management and financial education services.

Over the past two years, Congress and the U.S. Department of Education made changes to the funding and administration of federal student aid programs. These changes resulted in schools assuming greater responsibilities and increased challenges.

“Inceptia will provide much-needed support to schools, serving as the resource for proactive solutions designed to guide students on a life-long journey to financial success,”said Randy Heesacker, NSLP president and CEO.

For more than 25 years, as a not-for-profit guarantor, NSLP has helped more than 5,500 schools comply with federal regulations and more than two million students with successful student loan repayment. As the student financial aid landscape changed, it was important for NSLP to reposition to further help students and schools succeed. However, what hasn’t changed is the company’s long-standing mission to ensure schools and students are equipped with the tools, strategies, and services to successfully navigate the complex challenges facing financial aid.
