Inceptia’s inauguration began two years ago, building upon National Student Loan Program’s (NSLP) nonprofit mission and stellar 30 year reputation for helping schools deliver quality financial education and default prevention solutions.
Since March 2012, Inceptia has worked with more than 220 institutions of all types and sizes to assist in lowering their cohort default rate, while guiding thousands of students towards a brighter, more fiscally responsible adulthood. “As a division of NSLP, Inceptia’s role is supporting schools as they provide students with the tools and knowledge to become adults that are financially literate and confident, with the ultimate goal being default prevention. We’re out to advise students on how to borrow wisely, resolve their delinquency issues, and successfully repay their student loan obligations,” stated NSLP President and CEO Randy Heesacker.
Two of Inceptia’s services, Financial Avenue and Default Prevention Outreach, were honored nationwide in 2012 and 2013 respectively through their selection as University Business Magazine Readers’ Choice Top Product(s) of the Year.
“We are committed to partnering with schools for student success,” Heesacker shared. “Our diligent efforts during the past two years are a testament to that focus, and indicate that we’ll continue to be successful at helping students manage debt and repay their student loans in a timely manner. Above all, we appreciate our client institutions for their continued engagement in educating their students. It’s through their partnership that NSLP’s nearly 30 years have been notable, and Inceptia’s first two years have been filled with so many successes and accomplishments.”
