Identity Finder Offers Award-Winning Identity Protection Software Free to all UConn Students

Identity Finder, LLC today announced that it will give all 30,000 University of Connecticut students a free license of the Identity Finder Home Edition. University of Connecticut students may download the software at http://www.identityfinder.com/us/store/StudentInitiative/UCONNEDU

Identity Finder's announcement comes one day after University of Connecticut officials announced that they would install Identity Finder throughout the University to protect personal data.

Identity Finder will find credit card numbers, social security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords and other personal information on hard drives, then gives students the ability to shred, redact, encrypt, or quarantine the sensitive information. Once secured by Identity Finder, personal information cannot be stolen by hackers, viruses, or thieves. Identity Finder's most recent edition won PC Magazine's Editor's Choice award.
