New York, NY February 27, 2013 - i>clicker, one of the leading Student Response Systems (SRS) in higher education, today announced i>clicker GO, a virtual student response app for smart devices and computers. i>clicker GO will be available for download in iTunes and the Google Play app store in August for $9.99 per student, per semester.

i>clicker GO is a software-based Student Response System (SRS) application that utilizes wireless (WiFi and mobile) networks to turn laptops and smart devices into classroom learning tools. With i>clicker GO, instructors can allow students to use their web browsers, smart phones, or tablets as the class standard clicker or allow them to use i>clicker GO alongside other students using physical i>clicker+ and i>clicker2 remotes.

The launch of i>clicker GO replaces web>clicker, delivering on the company’s mission to empower instructors, students and administrators with the best and most flexible technology that adapts to their needs.

All i>clicker products can be seamlessly integrated within most leading Learning Management Systems (LMS) through the i>clicker Integrate plug-in wizards, which include support for: Blackboard, Desire2Learn, and now Moodle, makers of Moodlerooms, rSmart, makers of Sakai, and Instructure, makers of Canvas.

i>clicker GO offers a more accessible alternative to the physical remote. With i>clicker GO, students use a full keypad for easier navigation and response entry, are able to zoom in on screen content, can enhance contrast using the system settings, and are able to take advantage of a backlit screen for low-light environments.
