Hope College is taking part in a national effort aimed at growing the number of women who work in fields related to science, technology, engineering and math.

Three female professors at Hope were selected to participate in a project by the National Science Foundation to create a mentoring network to help female faculty at undergraduate universities succeed and advance in their careers.

The professors are: Stephanie Edwards, associate professor mathematics; Vicki-Lynn Holmes, assistant professor of mathematics and education; and Catherine Mader, professor of physics.
