Helping youth with disabilities find career opportunities

The U.S. Department of Labor is launching a $2 million pilot program to build capacity among community colleges to meet the educational and career development needs of youth with disabilities.

Through the Pathways to Careers: Community Colleges for Youth and Young Adults with Disabilities Demonstration Project, DOL's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) will award $1 million each toward two cooperative agreements that will focus on researching, developing, testing and evaluating innovative systems to deliver inclusive integrated education and career development services.
