Gwynedd-Mercy College becomes a university

Gwynedd-Mercy College announced this morning that its application to become a university has been approved. The Catholic school based in Gwynedd has officially changed its name to Gwynedd Mercy University, following approval from the state.

University status allows the school to offer doctoral programs. Among its first offerings will be a Doctor of Nursing Practice, the school said.
