Greenpeace said Michigan State University has failed its students by adopting an energy plan that doesn't go far enough. "MSU had a golden opportunity to lead, taking this campus towards 100 percent clean energy and away from its current reliance on dirty coal," MSU Greenpeace spokesperson Jordan Lindsay said in a statement. The MSU Board of Trustees on Friday adopted the Energy Transition Plan, a strategy with the ultimate goal of leading the university to a future powered completely by renewable resources. It was developed by a group of 24 students, faculty and staff.
