Glendale Community College has plans for growth

Glendale municipal officials and Glendale Community College executives are pursuing big plans for small businesses.

City and college officials have developed plans to open a small business and entrepreneurship center in downtown by late summer or early fall.

On May 7, Glendale City Council members directed city employees to further develop the concept with the intent of housing the operation in the historic Sine Building at 6829 N. 58th Drive.

This building is connected to Glendale’s oldest families and longest-running businesses, a hardware store now known as Sine Ace Hardware.
