FRONTROW releases its new EZROOM® AV control system with HDMI. The new product configuration provides an active HDMI over Cat5e extender solution that can support the complete range of HDMI devices. In addition, FRONTROW de-embeds the audio from the HDMI signal and directs it into the FRONTROW CM3000 for amplification into the room.
Improve classroom AV management
“More and more K-12 classrooms are using HDMI-equipped devices creating the demand for teachers and staff to easily control and manage the technology, including the ability to switch between analog and digital devices,” says Sean Penn, Product Manager at FRONTROW. “The FRONTROW EZROOM with HDMI allows them to connect their tablets, computers, and video players with full digital video signal path to their classroom display, for the best image quality possible.” Penn explains that the FRONTROW EZROOM helps make technology more useable in the classroom. “With our wall mount control panels, network amplifiers, and wireless microphone systems, EZROOM makes controlling classroom technology easier than ever.”
Improved design flexibility
"FRONTROW’s new Decora-compatible HDMI solution and analog wall plates are a great addition to their EZROOM lineup,” Eric Marshall, RCDD, Business Development at WPCS, a design-build engineering company in California says, “enabling us to design and install an AV control package that meets all the school's technological and aesthetic needs." Marshall also touts, “secondly another advantage that I see is a cost savings because I can do a 4-gang box and the other two spaces can be used for a USB connection and data connection. The USB can be used for PC free presentations or interactive capabilities.”
The FRONTROW EZROOM AV control system provides intuitive control panels in the classroom for teacher use and networked access to Tech Directors and Administrators to remotely manage the devices across a campus.
The suggested educational price of the FRONTROW EZROOM with HDMI package begins at US$1899.
