Perhaps I've read too many news releases over the years, but phrases like "master plan," "strategic plan" and "strategic goals" make me cringe.
In a way, aren't all goals strategic? Same with plans. They're just details for achieving or doing something.
So when I was reading about Franklin College and what improvements it is making to its campus, I confess I did a double-cringe.
"The Future Unfolds is a five-phase campaign in support of the college's strategic goals and the Campus Master Plan," read the newsletter.
