Ferris State University has named David Rosen as the next president of Kendall College of Art and Design, saying he will help the school prosper as it prepares to open a new campus in downtown Grand Rapids.
“Dr. Rosen is an outstanding choice to continue the tradition of excellence at Ferris’ Kendall College of Art and Design,” said Ferris President David Eisler, who announced Rosen’s appointment on Wednesday.
Rosen will replace Oliver Evans, who is to retire in July after leading the college for 18 years.
Rosen most recently served as Senior Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Woodbury University, a California-based private college that specializes in art, architecture, media, design and business.
