ED MAP, provider of course materials management services, and Thuze, an exciting new eReader platform with a library of more than 90 e-Books, have implemented a new partnership to enhance each company’s ability to provide institutions with tailored, cost-effective digital materials.

Thuze, developed by Bridgepoint Education, is using the bookstore feature of ED MAP’s OpenVue® platform as its ecommerce engine and to manage the sale of Thuze digital books as well as optional PDF and audio versions of its titles. The wide range of e-Book content available in Thuze includes extensive offerings in the humanities, social sciences, business, and other disciplines. Thuze is an innovative, elegant e-reading experience that is optimized for education and provides students with direct access to content that is mapped to learning outcomes.

Beth Aguiar, Bridgepoint Education VP of Business Development & Product Marketing, notes, “ED MAP has been bringing excellent learning content solutions to their partner institutions for more than 12 years. We look forward to partnering with them to make our affordable, interactive, and current catalog of Thuze e-Books available to their customers.”

According to ED MAP President and COO Kerry S. Pigman, “Having Bridgepoint Education utilize ED MAP’s OpenVue technology to help grow their Thuze business is a wonderful outgrowth of a long-standing partnership between our two companies. Additionally, we are pleased to be able to offer Thuze content and the Thuze reader to our institutional clients. It is yet another way to deliver quality content, at a lower cost than traditional textbooks, through our OpenVue storefronts.”
