Duke Students Present Complaints To President

A group of Duke University students says it's disappointed with the administration's response so far to concerns about how black students are being treated on campus.

About two dozen students dressed in business attire gathered at two administration buildings Tuesday in hopes of meeting with President Richard Brodhead and other officials.

The students presented a list of concerns and remedies they hope the school will adopt, including an endowment to provide stable funding for cultural events and academic efforts aimed at black students.
