Dickinson State On Notice For Enrollment Problems

A college accrediting agency has put Dickinson State University on notice because of the school's problems with enrollment reporting, grade inflation and tuition discounts.

The agency says Dickinson President D.C. Coston will have to make a report early next year about the school's progress in solving its problems.

A letter from the Higher Learning Commission of Chicago says the commission's trustees will decide later whether to put Dickinson State on probation. The school got the letter Friday.
