A $50 million academic building for UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration took an initial step this week with the approval of a $2.8 million contract for architectural services.
The contract with Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects was approved by the state Board of Examiners, including Gov. Brian Sandoval.
Gus Nuñez, manager of the state Public Works Board, said the new building should be ready for students by the fall of 2017. Construction is dependent on funding in the 2015 session of the Legislature, however.
