Cuyahoga Community College forms alliance with University of Phoenix

Cuyahoga Community College has announced an alliance with the University of Phoenix that offers reduced tuition and fees to Tri-C graduates.

But the cost to take online classes from the for-profit institution or on its campus in Beachwood in most cases is higher than attending Cleveland State University.

Eligible Tri-C graduates can receive a 10 percent tuition reduction at the University of Phoenix once enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at the school. To qualify, students must have earned their Tri-C degree after Feb. 18, 2014.
