CU-Boulder Real Estate Chief Will Become Interim Vice Chancellor For Administration

University of Colorado leaders have chosen Jeff Lipton -- who serves as director of real estate for the Boulder campus -- to serve as the interim vice chancellor for administration.

Lipton will be replacing Frank Bruno, who is leaving the university job to become vice president at Western Disposal, Inc. in Boulder. Bruno will leave CU on Aug. 1.

The university is filling three of its vice chancellor positions with interims while school leaders decide which routes they'll take for making permanent hires. CU-Boulder's administration has a provost and five vice chancellors.

Earlier this month, CU Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Julie Wong left the Boulder campus for a new job at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
