The University of Colorado has been named the "druggiest" college in America, according to a new report from The Daily Beast and Newsweek.
The report -- which relies on student ratings for low "drug scene" grades, on-campus arrests for drug violations, drug arrests per-capita and data from the U.S. Department of Human Services National Survey on Drug Abuse -- puts CU's Boulder campus atop a list of 30 schools.
"From study enhancers to bong rips, American colleges remain a hotbed for illegal drug experimentation," the report reads. "The Daily Beast finds the 30 institutions of higher learning where students experiment the most."
CU earned the top spot based on a grade of "C-" for drug safety, 801 on-campus drug arrests during the study period and 27.29 percent of people ages 18-25 statewide who are regular drug users.
