Illuminating and connecting interiors with a softer approach to geometrics, Play of Light from the Mohawk Group takes end-users on a journey through light and dark motifs. Driven by the emerging “rurban” trend, whereby urban cultures are inheriting rural philosophies to create a greater sense of community and balance within their neighborhoods, the Mohawk Group created Play of Light to provide designers with a flooring solution capable of seamlessly blending diverse spaces together. Merging small town ideas with big city style, Play of Light features an organic interpretation of geometrics and shadows to illustrate the adaptive nature of light and how it can be reflected, refracted and filtered through a variety of surfaces. The modular Collection reenergizes and unifies its surrounding environment with multiple pile heights to create textures that seamlessly emerge and disappear and nine brilliant colorways ranging from tone neutrals to defined color. Coordinated for synergy, Play of Light’s three luminous patterns, including Filtering Through, Streaming In and Radiating Out, are an ideal fit for the open floor layouts found within today’s corporate environments.
