Craig Schmidt and Marie Hansel named VPs at Prairie State College

Prairie State College (PSC) recently named two vice president positions with the college. Craig Schmidt was named vice president, community and economic development, and Dr. Marie Hansel was named vice president, academic affairs.

As vice president, community and economic development, Schmidt plans, organizes, and implements a comprehensive program of adult, continuing, and community education, as well as contractual training, which is responsible to the current and emerging needs of the business, industrial, human service, professional, and general adult population of the PSC district. He will also provide leadership for developing curricular, scheduling, and financial support responses to identified community needs.
