Cornell vet school getting $63M makeover

Cornell University veterinary students, and the ailing animals who depend on them, are about to get a $63 million upgrade.

The university is announcing plans for a project to expand the College of Veterinary Medicine’s veterinary training and pre-clinical education facilities.

Cornell has partnered with the Weiss/Manfredi architectural firm, of New York City, to design the project, with construction scheduled to begin next summer and conclude in 2017.
