College of New Rochelle enters state START-UP program

The College of New Rochelle announced Thursday that it is the first private college in the lower Hudson Valley to enter New York's START-UP business program.

START-UP NY provides incentives for businesses to relocate, start up, or significantly expand in New York State through affiliations with public and private universities, colleges, and community colleges.

Eligible businesses have the opportunity to operate state and local tax-free and their employees to pay no state or local personal income taxes for up to ten years, while partnering with higher education institutions.
