Central Michigan University officials are releasing more information about the faculty’s new three-year contract.
CMU spokesman Steve Smith said he expects both faculty union representatives and CMU President George E. Ross will sign the contract soon.
The contract includes a 2.25 percent salary increase for faculty in the second year of the deal and a 2.5 percent increase in the final year, Smith said.
The medical health insurance benefits would be fixed at existing levels, he said.
Faculty members who will work at the school’s new College of Medicine are excluded from the agreement, Smith said.
