Construction costs for the Central Michigan University College of Medicine Saginaw campus could be $16 to $18 million.

This fall, a task-force will start planning the Saginaw campus, which includes two buildings near Covenant HealthCare and St. Mary’s of Michigan, according to CMU’s information database for the medical school. The partners will announce full cost projections in the spring. The Saginaw campus will open in the winter of 2015.

On Friday, CMU officials released 10, inch-thick volumes of the university’s self-study and database for an accrediting organization after three Freedom of Information Act requests from student newspaper Central Michigan Life and faculty organizations Academic Senate and Faculty Association.

The documents are available in the reserve section of Park Library.
