Central Georgia Tech receives $100,000 grant

The Central Georgia Technical College Foundation recently snagged a $100,000 grant from the Peyton Anderson Foundation in Macon.

The grant will be used to purchase equipment for the Charles H. Jones Advanced Technology Center, according to a release.

The technology center will provide services to new and existing industries. Plans for the center include several classrooms, as well as manufacturing and industrial labs for college students, employees and industry managers.
