Jeff Gingerich, Ph.D., vice provost/dean for academic affairs and associate professor of sociology, has been appointed interim provost/vice president of academic affairs at Cabrini College, effective June 1.

During his three-year tenure as Vice Provost/Dean for Academic Affairs, Gingerich, a resident of Norristown, “has proven to be a valued member of the President’s Cabinet with a strong track record of leadership and collaboration with faculty,” notes press information.

“We are fortunate to have such a skilled and talented leader to serve in the interim position while the college selects a new president,” says Interim President Deb Takes.

Anne Skleder, Ph.D., current provost/vice president of academic affairs, has accepted the position of provost/senior vice president at Wilkes University and will depart in June. With Gingerich in place, an internal search will commence for naming an interim dean of academic affairs.
