Broomfield startup Gogy licenses technology from CU-Boulder

As an assistant professor at the University of Colorado, Bret Fund sought a variety of means to improve classroom discourse through the addition of technology. And when he couldn't find the right fit, he developed his own interactive education software program, -- which allows for lectures, presentations and other projects to become more interactive -- with the help of a research grant awarded by CU's Leeds School of Business. On Tuesday, CU licensed the technology to Gogy Inc., a Broomfield-based startup launched by Fund. Financial terms of the license agreement were not disclosed, said Lindsay Lennox, a spokeswoman for CU's Technology Transfer Office.
