Renovation of Studebaker East Residence Hall at Ball State University is behind schedule, the university announced this morning.
It will not be ready by August for move-in.
The building “was to be turned over to Ball State on March 31,” BSU said in a news release. “The contractor has yet to return the building to the university and is still working to complete its work.”
The university will not have enough time after the work is finished to have the building ready for August.
“We are very disappointed about the delay,” BSU treasurer Randy Howard said.
