Ashland University will reduce tuition $10,000 next year

Ashland University will cut undergraduate tuition $10,000 in 2014 in an effort to make higher education more affordable.

Ashland appears to be the second institution nationally to tackle the high cost of college by radically reducing its tuition.

Annual tuition for all full-time Ashland students will drop from $28,908 to $18,908. Grant and scholarship aid will be reduced, but the overall cost for most students should be lower, officials said.
