$28.8 million Auburn University Center for Advanced Science completed

Birmingham’s Brasfield & Gorrie has completed the $28.8 million Auburn University Center for Advanced Science, Innovation and Commerce.

The 84,000-square-foot building will house five multidisciplinary research departments and was funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the State of Alabama, the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station and Auburn University.

Developing new intellectual property and technologies at Auburn University will be the focus of the facility by teaming up experts in agriculture, engineering, science and mathematics, forestry and wildlife sciences, and architecture, design and construction.
