The Connected Campus: Centralizing decentralized technologies

This event is the first of a three-part web seminar series on The Connected Campus.

Campuses today face a challenge in providing seamless delivery and display of media to classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms and auditoriums. With different devices and media formats all requiring access to network resources, the need for a centralized solution is greater than ever. Watch this web seminar to hear how Wake Forest University coordinated decentralized AV technologies over the IT network at its new facility for its business school.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Incorporating AV into an IT world using standards-based architectures.
  • Supporting disparate technologies with end-users in mind.
  • Meeting the needs of rooms with multiple displays and a mix of analog and digital sources.
  • Handling HDMI/HDCP switching without workarounds or resolution incompatibilities.

Jackie Deluna, Director of Strategic Education Marketing, AMX Corp.
