Gator Dining Services/ARAMARK has eliminated foam packaging for foods at all Gator Dining locations, including the dining halls, Classic Fare Catering and the national brands on University of Florida’s campus. Ridding foam in more than 40 dining locations diverts an estimated 1.2 million units of foam products from the landfill, which is approximately 24,000 pounds or 17,000 cubic feet of foam.

Historically, colleges and universities have used different criteria to measure fundraising successes and shortcomings, making it difficult to achieve a clear picture of trends in giving and areas for improvement – especially when measuring an institution’s success relative to other institutions’ results.

At a time when it’s more important than ever for students to have access to low cost banking products, the average consumer is spending $30 a year using ATMs. To address this, Sallie Mae is making it possible for student checking account customers to withdraw cash surcharge-free at easily accessible ATMs. With the help of Cardtronics, the world's largest retail ATM owner, Sallie Mae is rolling out ATMs on select campuses which are fee free for students with a Sallie Mae Debit MasterCard. In addition, students have fee free access to 35,000 Allpoint Network ATMs nationwide.

 Huron Consulting Group, a provider of business consulting services, today announced that Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has selected its Click™ Portal software to automate clinical trials business processes, including budgeting, sponsor billing, participant tracking, and reporting. The new software will be fully integrated with Wake Forest Baptist’s existing Click-based electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (eIACUC) solutions, as well as other business systems across the institution.
