The Kno tablet textbook features a reader, notebook, and web browser in a format that simulates the experience of paper textbooks. The Wi-Fi- and Bluetooth-enabled tablet provides a pen stylus so students can write directly on their textbooks or take notes. With a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to six hours, the single-screen tablet is 13.8 inches by 9.1 inches and a little over half an inch thick. It weighs in at 2.6 pounds and is priced at $599.

Made to work in conjunction with e2Campus, uTip can deliver anonymous tips sent from a standard cell phone to public safety or campus police's mobile phones and e-mail accounts.
