Laundry Made Easy

WaveVision, a web-based laundry services portal from Heartland Payment Systems, aims to take the stress out of dorm laundry. The online portal allows students to view the status of washers and dryers before making the trip to the laundry facility, eliminating unnecessary trips and wasted time. They can also register to receive text messages, alerting them when their laundry cycles are complete. There is a $2,000 annual fee for WaveVision, which includes site hosting and a one-time per laundry room connection fee, which varies depending on the number of laundry machines. Workday has announced a unified higher education administrative solution that runs in the cloud. Workday Human Capital Management for Higher Education, Workday Payroll for Higher Education, and Workday Cloud Connect allow college and university human resources departments to securely manage employee data from anywhere. The applications are customized for the higher ed market, addressing unique academic payroll, budgeting and planning, endowment accounting, and grants management needs.
